Roy Elementary School needs help running a Micro STEM Fest Kit event!
Roy Elementary School is seeking volunteers to help them run their Micro STEM Fest event on November 14, 2024 in Roy, UT.
What this opportunity looks like:
- You will be working with elementary aged students. Someone from Roy Elementary School will assign you to a job they need help with when you arrive. You could be working with students doing a STEM activity or you could be helping with another task.
- This shift may include set up time and clean up time. The Micro STEM Fest Kits themselves will need at least 30 minutes to put back together correctly.
- High school aged students are welcome to volunteer! Come volunteer with your family or friend group.
- Industry volunteers welcomed. If you have a group of colleagues looking to volunteer together, this would be a great opportunity.
- Any questions? Reach out to Julia Talbert at jutalbert1@wsd.net.
You should know:
The STEM Action Center/UVU has provided access so that this school has an opportunity to borrow a Micro STEM Fest Kit or two. The STEM Action Center is not running or in charge of this event. You will work with a representative from Club Ability directly for volunteer shift details and needs.
